- Soldbuch grouping to Unteroffizier Georg Dreschler. After his Soldbuch was opened in February 1942, he saw a lot of action on the Eastern Front with one single infantry unit: the Infanterie-Regiment 544 of the 389. Infanterie-Division. In the Summer of 1942, they were advancing towards Stalingrad, earning him the EKII. Lucky for him, he was hit by a bullet about a week before the official start of the Stalingrad battle, mid August 1942. He was evacuated and escaped the desctruction of his division in the Stalingrad pocket. He rejoined the regiment after its rebuilding in 1944 and was wounded again in July 1944 fighting in Latvia. Dreschler was awarded the Sudeten-Erinnerungsabzeichen, the Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse, the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz and the Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Silber for his efforts.
- Soldbuch in very good condition, complete with portrait photo and all pages, punched once and on some pages twice.
