- Small award document grouping to Gefreiter Elmar Happ of Artillerie-Regiment 184, part of the 84. Infanterie-Division. He was wounded in the Falaise gap in Normandy on 20th of August 1944, the day the division is known to have been decimated there after fighting in Normandy since late July. Elmar did escape from the gap, as he was later also awarded the EK2 for Normandy. This document from 16th of September 1944 is signed by Knight's Cross winner General Erich Straube, who also earned the Oak Leaves two weeks after signing the document.
- Both "in the field" made documents are in used condition, EK2 has tape repair on the back, both are folded four times, not punched.
