• Wehrpass to Obergefreiter Johann Förstl, who joined the Wehrmacht in April 1940. Apart from a short stay with Panzerpionier-Bataillon 27 of the 17. Panzer-Division, he served mostly with reserve pioneer units until March 1943. Late that month, he was sent to Yugoslavia with Pionier-Bataillon 718 of the 718. Infanterie-Division, which was being transformed into the 118. Jäger-Division. In June 1943, the division was involved in "Fall Schwarz", a major Germanoffensive against the Yugoslavian partisans in Bosnia. Först was KIA during these anti-partisan operations on 13th of June 1943 near Budani, Hill 605, Bosnia.
