- Letter sent by the Polish prisoner Leo (Leon) Piechna from KZ Sachsenhausen to his family in Huta, Kreis Zichenau, Poland on 16th of September 1940.
- Letter with some damage on the place of the removed stamp, with original "Postzensurstelle K.L. Sachsenhausen" censor stamp.
- Several archive records from the Arolsen archives, shown here just for reference, show that Piechna was later held at Auschwitz (from June 1943), back to Sachsenhausen (October 1944) and finally at Mauthausen (from February 1945). He was a maried father of two and had been arrested as political prisoner.
