Wehrpass to Fahrer Theodor Weixler. First issue from May 1938. Weixler had an administrative job with the Munich city council and earned the SA Sportabzeichen in the 1930's. Despite his higher age, he was called up with Artillerie-Regiment 387 of the 387.ID in January 1942. That same month, he was awarded the Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse ohne Schwerter for service in his civilian job. Weixler had some medical issues but after some time with a Werfer reserve unit, he joined the Generalstab des Heeres of the OKH (Oberkommando des Heeres) in October 1942.

This high command unit, the principal part of the OKH, was located in the "Mauerwald" forest in Eastern Prussia. It was situated very near Hitler's headquarters at the Wolfsschanze, to facilitate the planning of the war on the Eastern Front. This large complex with 30 bunkers and many more buildings can still be visited today. The battle page of the Wehrpass confirms that Weixler served in this HQ and the medical page 34 further confirms it: mid November 1942, he was hospitalised with tbc in the nearby hospital of Lötzen (now Gizycko, Poland). This serious illness meant the end of his military career; he was discharged in September 1943.

Wehrpass in good and complete condition.
