Wehrpass to Unteroffizier Matthias Schambony. First issue from June 1940. This WWI veteran, aged 45 already, was called up in March 1943 to join the Luftwaffe. He would serve with airport staff units in France and, retreating from there following the Normandy Invasion in August 1944, also back in the Reich. His France based units were Fliegerhorst-Kommandatur A 222/XII iN Clermont-Ferrand, and Fliegerhorst-Kommandatur E 233/XII in La Rochelle. Schambony ended his war with the Feldwerft-Ersatzabteilung in Eschwege.  

The Wehrpass is in very good and complete condition. It comes with two extra documents from the Wehrmeldeamt Saarlautern in 1944.
