Wehrpass to Feldwebel Albert Otto. First issue from July 1939. An electrician in daily life, this man from Kassel continued his civilian profession in the Luftwaffe from October 1939. He served as airplance electrician on airports in Germany, southern Italy, Sicily, Romania, the Ukraine, and again in Italy supporting the African campaign. In January 1944, he joined an active flying unit: the 4. Staffel of Transportfliegergeschwader 4.

February to late April 1945, Otto ended the war with Transportstaffel 40. This rare late-war unit is a very interesting one, as it solely used some of the first helicopters used by the Wehrmacht: the Flettner Fl 282 and the Focke-Achgelis Fa 223 "Drache", from its base in Ainring, Bavaria.

The pages are wrinkled / creased, but the Wehrpass is complete with all pages and a portrait photo.
