Wehrpass to Matrosen-Obergefreiter Paul Striesow from Zudar, on the island Rügen. First issue from May 1940. Striesow was a professional boatman, so it was no surprise he was mobilised by the Kriegsmarine. He was mainly serving with the Marine-Hafen-Abteilung Boulogne on the northern French coast (1940-'41), and in 1941 also in other French ports with the Gruppe Fécamp of the Übungsverband Le Havre, and the Zweigstelle Dieppe of the Kommandant der Seeverteidigung, both in Normandy. In 1942, he was with the Marinestammregiment Beverloo in Belgium, before joining his last unit, the newly formed 23. Landungsflottille in Swinemünde. This flottilla sailed for Kirkenes in northern Norway, but Striesow was released in December 1942 to pick up his civilian occupation again.

The Wehrpass is in very good and complete condition, and comes with his Entlassungsschein, his Führungszeugnis and two Wehrpass-Notiz documents.
