Soldbuch to Wachtmeister Arnold Gloger. First issue from September 1939. Gloger served in anti-aircraft units, mostly with the 13. Batterie of Flak-Regiment 6, active in the Hamburg area in 1939-'43. He was awarded the Tätigkeitsabzeichen der Flakartillerie here in November 1943. In July 1943, he moved to Flakscheinwerfer-Abteilung 582 in Austria, where in September 1944, he was transferred into the Heer.

Sent to the newly formed überschweres MG-Bataillon 824 in November 1944, he fought as Heerestruppe in the Eifel with this 2 cm anti-aircraft Heeresflak unit. The Soldbuch shows it was renamed into Infanterie-Fla-Bataillon 824, the correct name according to the LdW is Festungs-Fla-Bataillon 824. In January 1945, it was again renamed into the II. Abteilung of Heeres-Flakartillerie-Brigade 501, and continued fighting in the Eifel. Gloger was captured on the Western Front and entered French POW camps; notice the entry on page 8 mentioning a camp in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles (Gironde).

The Soldbuch is in well used condition, with a few loose pages, but still complete including the uniform portrait. It comes with a few extra Merkblätter and papers.
