Soldbuch to Unteroffizier Hans Bröer. First issue from November 1939. Born in Breslau, this gardener served with the Luftwaffe in Schleswig, Parow, Stolp and Wiesbaden before moving to his first flying unit in February 1943: the 3. Staffel of Kampfgruppe z.b.V. 9, then flying transport missions with its Ju 52 from Taganrog (southern Russia).
His Gruppe was soon renamed into the I. Gruppe of Transportgeschwader 3, and Bröer continued his flying service in the East, adding the Frontflugspange für Transportflieger in Bronze (October 1943) and Silber (June 1944) plus the EKII (November 1944) to his earlier Schützenschnur and Schützenabzeichen awards.
With its number of Ju 52 ready to fly continueing to decrease, Bröer left the 3./T.G.3 for a completely different unit in January 1945: he ended the war with the 4. Batterie of leichte Flak-Abteilung 592, protecting trains with anti-aircraft guns all over Germany.
The Soldbuch is in well used condition, with loose pages but still a 100% complete. Interesting entries include a camouflage uniform, "Fliegendes Personal" entries on pages 1 and 14, an extra flying personnel medical examination page, and more.
