• Soldbuch to Obergefreiter Georg Ingerling. First issue opened in February 1941. Ingerling served as a Panzerjäger in Infanterie-Regiment 475, part of the 255. Infanterie-Division. He was badly wounded early October 1941, when his division was fighting in the area of Smolensk and Wjasma on the Eastern Front. Ingerling was hit ao. in the neck and the left arm. Very likely the latter had to be amputated, as he was awarded the Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber for this single wound, entered in the Soldbuch on the same date as his Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse. He spent two years in hospitals, until he was finally released from the Wehrmacht late 1943.
  • Soldbuch in very good and complete condition. A portrait photo was never inserted due to his early release.
