• Soldbuch to Gefreiter Josef Weilekes. First issue from October 1942, opened by the Feld-Ausbildungs-Grenadier-Regiment 619. This regiment was part of the 382. (Feldausbildungs) Infanterie-Division and shortly fought with the 27. Panzer-Division on the Donez front in January-February 1943. After the dissolution of this regiment, Weilekes fought with Grenadier-Regiment 587 of the 320. Infanterie-Division, until he was wounded early June 1943 by shrapnel in the area of Belgorod. • He returned to the front late 1944 with Festungs-MG-Bataillon 63, a Heerestruppe fighting in Poland. After suffering heavy losses in the area of Modlin and Zichenau, it retreated to Eastern Prussia in Spring 1945, and Weilekes was wounded a second time early March 1945. He likely ended the war in hospital.
  • The Soldbuch is a 100% complete and in very good condition; it includes a P.38 pistol entry and a portrait photo in late war Feldbluse.
