- Soldbuch to Gefreiter Hubert Groh, who served with the 9. Panzer-Division on the Eastern Front. First issue started in October 1941. After his military training, Groh joined Panzergrenadier-Regiment 11 of the 9. Panzer-Division in the summer of 1942. After a short time on the front, he was wounded by shrapnel on August 24th, 1942. He received the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz for his wound and, after having beaten a cholera infection, was released from hospital in February 1943. Groh also received the Panzerkampfabzeichen in Bronze that month, but was unfit for further military service and was released from the Wehrmacht in December 1943.
- Because he was released in 1943, no photo was ever attached in the Soldbuch. Nice entries for his two awards, and lots of equipment. Pages are loose, but the Soldbuch is 100% complete.
