- Wehrpass to Unteroffizier Günther Geissler, who volunteered for the Luftwaffe in January 1940. He was trained as a Bordschütze and eventually ended up in the 12. Staffel of Kamfgeschwader 27 "Boelcke" in May 1943. Soon after, he saw "3 Bandeneinsätze" with this unit; anti-partisan close combat days that counted for the rare Bandenkampfabzeichen. Very rare to find these mentioned in a Wehrpass - especially to flying Luftwaffe personnel!
- It was not until late 1943 that he was deployed as Bordschütze with I/KG27 in Heinkel He 111 bombers over Russia. In total, there are 75 Feindflüge entered in the Wehrpass, earning him the Frontflugspange in Bronze and Silber, the EKII and the EKI, all in 1944. With the Ostmedaille and the Fliegerschützenabzeichen added to that, his total came to 6 awards.
- The Wehrpass is in a perfect condition.
