- Soldbuch issued to the 55 year old tie merchant Alfred Frenzel in August 1944. Interestingly, he was born in the French city Saint-Quentin. At his respectable age he was called up to serve with Landesschützen-Bataillon 355 and issued a Dutch rifle. One of the four extra documents links him directly to the Stalag IV-D in Torgau, and more precisely to the subordinate work camps of Bitterfeld. British, French, Russian and Serbian POW's were deployed here in various positions, most importantly in a coal mine.
- The Soldbuch is in excellent and complete condition. Added are two gasmask documents, one Ausweis and one very nice Truppenausweis as "Wachmann" (guard) of the Mannschafts-Stammlager (Stalag) IV D.
