- Soldbuch to Gefreiter Bernhard Hunger. First issue started in December 1942. This mechanic from Chemnitz first served with Artillerie-Regiment 336 of the 336. Infanterie-Division. Following the destruction of the 336.ID on the Krim, Hunger joined the leichte Heeres-Artillerie-Brigade 704, newly formed in June 1944 to counter the Allied invasion in Normandy. The unit was immediately sent to the area of Condé-sur-Noireau, from where it was deployed into action in the area of Caumont by late June. A promotion entry on September 1st, 1944 still ties him to this same unit; by then it had retreated from Normandy and the Brigade was to be sent to the East. Hunger, however, did not leave for the Eastern Front but was transferred to another unit in France: the Korps-Aufklärungs-Abteilung 490, part of the 90. Armeekorps. This army corps saw action in the Alsace, after which it retreated through the Heimat (Hessen, Thüringen, Erzgebirge) until the surrender of May 1945.
- The Soldbuch is a 100% complete and in very good condition. It comes with a POW ID document.
