- Soldbuch to Unterfeldwebel Georg Kath. First issue started in October 1939. Kath first served with Infanterie-Regiment 209 of the 58. Infanterie-Division fighting in the French campaign. In June 1940 he was wounded by a concussion sustained in battle, for which he earned the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz. On the Eastern Front, he fought with Infanterie-Regiment 6 and later Grenadier-Regiment 46, both part of the 30. Infanterie-Division. The 30.ID fought on the Northern sector, in the Demjanks pocket and later in Kurland. Kath was awarded the Ostmedaille, KVKII, an unreadable award and last the rare Demjank shield.
- The Soldbuch is a 100% complete and in very used but good condition. A portrait photo was never inserted. Interesting entries, apart from the rare campaign shield, include a DWM pistol, the Führergeschenk and an extra paper from April 1945 allowing him to wear rubber boots, as he was part of the "Grabenstärke", the front line trench troops in the Kurland pocket.
