- Soldbuch to Stabsgefreiter Leo Mosick, started in September 1944. Mosick was a father of three and a firefighter in civilian life, who had earned the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz back in 1941. Late 1944 he joined the newly erected Festungs-Pionier-Bataillon 53, a unit deployed as Heerestruppe in Holland. It was first based in Doetinchem. A promotion by this unit on the 12th of January 1945 is the last entry in the Soldbuch - he may have been taken POW little later.
- The Soldbuch is a 100% complete and in very good condition. Notice the portrait photo has not been stamped or signed. The wear shown on the staples, behind the photo and on page 1 (imprint of the photo and rust of the staples) do indicate the photo was original applied. The Soldbuch comes with his POW discharge document.
