• Wehrpass to Leutnant Heinz Dargatz. Zweitschrift issued in December 1943. Dargatz rose through the rank from an ordinary Sch├╝tze in 1940 to an officer in 1945, through seven promotions all registered on page 22. His primary units were Infanterie-Regiment 543 of the 272. Infanterie-Division in 1940, the Generalkommando of the II. Armeekorps for 3.5 years, Grenadier-Regiment 585 of the 320. Infanterie-Division until wounded on the Dnjestr in May 1944, and finally Grenadier-Regiment 893 of the 264. Infanterie-Division as an officer in Denmark, 1945. During these five years, Dargatz was awarded no less than eight awards: the SA Sportabzeichen, the Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen, the KVK II, the Ostmedaille, the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz, the EK II, the Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen and finally the EK I. He witnessed the destruction of the 320.ID in the Ukraine in the summer of 1944 and was lucky to escape alive.
  • The Wehrpass is in a very good and complete condition. Notice the last awards were not stamped or signed. They are, however, 100% consistent and in the same handwriting than other (confirmed) entries, like his promotions from mid 1944.
