- Wehrpass to Leutnant Heinz Dargatz. Zweitschrift issued in December 1943. Dargatz rose through the rank from an ordinary Schütze in 1940 to an officer in 1945, through seven promotions all registered on page 22. His primary units were Infanterie-Regiment 543 of the 272. Infanterie-Division in 1940, the Generalkommando of the II. Armeekorps for 3.5 years, Grenadier-Regiment 585 of the 320. Infanterie-Division until wounded on the Dnjestr in May 1944, and finally Grenadier-Regiment 893 of the 264. Infanterie-Division as an officer in Denmark, 1945. During these five years, Dargatz was awarded no less than eight awards: the SA Sportabzeichen, the Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen, the KVK II, the Ostmedaille, the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz, the EK II, the Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen and finally the EK I. He witnessed the destruction of the 320.ID in the Ukraine in the summer of 1944 and was lucky to escape alive.
- The Wehrpass is in a very good and complete condition. Notice the last awards were not stamped or signed. They are, however, 100% consistent and in the same handwriting than other (confirmed) entries, like his promotions from mid 1944.
