• Soldbuch to Unteroffizier Emil Rickelhoff. First issue from June 1940. After serving with Landessch├╝tzen-Bataillon 480 in occupied France, Rickelhoff joined the command of Stalag VI B, based in Versen. This POW camp located near the Dutch border based mainly French and Belgian prisoners, as well as Dutch, Polish and Russians. In 1942 he was moved to Stalag 386, a more obscure camp that was apparently based in Rostow on the Don, Russia. The Soldbuch has no further entries after a leave in August 1943, but Rickelhoff's story did not end wel: he was killed in Sonsbeck, between the rivers Maas and Rhein, on 21st of February 1945.
  • Soldbuch in excellent and complete condition. A portrait photo was never inserted as it was disused in 1943. Notice the entry of his private 7.65 mm pistol. Worthy of further research!
