- Soldbuch to Matrosen-Hauptgefreiter Otto van Dawen. This older soldier from Dinslaken - possibly Dutch descent? - served with a Standortwachkompanie in Kiel, 1941. Though the Soldbuch entries stop in November 1941, further research shows that Otto van Dawen died as a POW in Rennes, Bretagne, France, on 7th of September 1945. He had been promoted to Unteroffizier by that time and is now buried in the German war cemetery of Mont-de-Huisnes, Gruft 4, Grabkammer 112.
- Soldbuch in perfect and complete condition. A portrait photo was never inserted.
