- Wehrpass to Gefreiter Josef Becker. First issue from February 1942. Becker fought with Grenadier-Regiment 427 of the 129. Infanterie-Division on the Eastern Front from April 1943. For fighting in the area of Mogilew, Becker was awarded an "Anerkennung wegen hervorragender Tapferkeit" on 18th of October 1943. This rare award entry, only very few examples known, is not to be confused with the better known Anerkennungsurkunde or Ehrenblattspange. It must have been an award at lower unit level: notice it was issued by a Bataillonsbefehl, the same one as his Verwundetenabzeichen. Undoubtly it was for one heroic action, like the destruction of a tank, an event during which he was also wounded. Becker also received the EKII for the action nine days later. Another two months later, Josef Becker was reported MIA, and is still missing since.
- The Wehrpass is in an excellent and complete condition.
