- Wehrpass to Gefreiter Josef Ingenbold. First issue from March 1939. Ingebold first served in Denmark with his replacement units and with Grenadier-Regiment 959, part of the 363. Infanterie-Division. He was then sent to the Eastern front as a reconnaissance soldier with Füsilier-Bataillon 215, part of the 215. Infanterie-Division, at that time retreating from the Pleskau (Pskow) area to Latvia. He was wounded by shrapnel in the area of Dunaburg (Daugavpils), 12th of July 1944. After rejoining his unit in November 1944, he saw continued action in the Kurland pocket. Ingenbold was awarded the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz, the Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen and the EK2, all for fighting in Latvia.
