- Soldbuch to Uffizier-Anwärter Friedrich Peters. First issue from October 1941. After some time with Luftnachrichten units in occupied Norway, he was trained as a Bordfunker in 1942-'43. Completing his training in Semlin (Zemun, Serbia), he was sent to the 8. Staffel of Transportgeschwader 2 on 17th of June, 1943. This unit was formed from the KGr.zbV.800 and flew transport missions with Junkers Ju 52 from the airfield of Brindisi, in Italy. After two months, Peters was awarded the Fliegerschützenabzeichen.
- On 24th of September 1943, Peters was killed in action on a mission to Corsica, as can be seen from the entry on page 17: "Gefallen am 24.9.1943 im Luftkampf vor Korsika". The island was at that point the scene of battle between the German troops, most notably the Sturmbrigade Reichsführer SS, and the French resistance aided by the Allied air force and Free French Forces who had landed on 13th of September. It would take another 10 days after the loss of Peters' Ju52 until the last German would evacuate the island.
- Soldbuch in very good and complete condition. A portrait photo was not yet entered at this stage of the war.
