• Small Wehrpass grouping to Feldwebel Otto Tiedemann. First issue from August 1936. Tiedemann was a cigar maker in daily life and was trained with the Reiterzug of Infanterie-Regiment 119 in 1936-'38. With this same cavallery recon unit, part of the 25. Infanterie-Division, he was mobilised again in August 1939 and participated in the Western campaign. After the fighting in France, he was transferred to the Reiterzug of Infanterie-Regiment 421, part of the newly formed 125. Infanterie-Division. With this unit, he fought for over two years on the Eastern front, until he was killed on 25th of October 1943 by a shot in the stomach in the Ukraine.  
  • During his service, Tiedemann was awarded the Schützenabzeichen für Gewehr, the Schutzwall-Ehrenzeichen (entered twice), the EKII, the Ostmedaille and the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz for a first wound sustained by an exploding land mine in August 1942.  
  • The Wehrpass is in a very good and complete condition. It comes with his Arbeitsbuch showing some more wear, and his Arbeitsdienstpass from his Freiwillige Arbeitsdienst time in 1935.
