• Soldbuch to Wachtmeister Ludwig Tröster. First issue opened in August 1939 by Reserve-Flakscheinwerfer-Abteilung 149. He had been serving since November 1937 and made it to an NCO rank in November 1939. After serving with his search light battery for over three years, Tröster joined a number of pilot schools. Numerous specific pilot equipment entries support that he was indeed trained as a pilot, but it looks like he never fully succeeded. He ended the war as a Wachtmeister, earning the Czech annexation medal and the KVKII mit Schwertern early in the war. Tröster was captured by the Allies and released in August 1945.
  • The Soldbuch is complete except for page 17-18, and is packed with entries, including many additional pages, a private Mauser pistol, and radio equipment issued on the airport of Metz-Frescaty (France). It comes with his POW discharge document.
