- Wehrpass to Otto Warnecke. First issue from May 1939. Warnecke joined the Wehrmacht in October 1940. During 1940 and 1941, he served with a large number of Luftwaffe reserve and security units in the Heimat, until in January 1942 he was added to the staff of the Feld-Regiment der Luftwaffe Nr. 1. These regiments were the predecessors of the better known Luftwaffe-Jäger-Regimenter. As part of the Luftwaffen-Division Meindl, the Feld-Regiment saw action on the northern sector of the Eastern Front. In May 1943, the regiment was used to create the Luftwaffen-Jäger-Regiment 42, part of the 21. Luftwaffen-Felddivision, also active in the area of Staraja Russa. The regiment was later taken over by the Heer, and Warnecke was killed in action on 4th of November, 1944 in Kurland. He is not listed on the Volksbund site. Warnecke was awarded the Ostmedaille.
- The Wehrpass is in an excellent and complete condition, with a nice portrait photo showing a Third Reich eagle pin on his jacket.
