- Two documents to Maschinenmaat Karl Gundlack, who was killed in the sinking of Uboat U-465 in the Bay of Biscay, 2nd of May 1943.
- After setting off on its 4th patrol from Saint-Nazaire, France, the U-465 was sunk by depth charges of an Australian Sunderland flying boat of the 461 Squadron RAAF. Gundlack was part of the 48 hands crew who went down with the ship. There were no survivors.
- Heldentod document with great layout and hand written signature of Kapitänleutnant Carl Emmermann of the 6. U-Flottille, Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves winner. Folded once, some tearing in the fold.
- Also included is the KIA letter, also hand signed by Kptl. Emmermann (RK+EL), informing the parents about the final fate of their son.
