- Soldbuch to Unteroffizier Kurt Nötzel. Zweitschrift issue from April 1944. Nötzel was a highly awarded combat veteran, who had earned the EKII, the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz and the Ostmedaille with the 123.ID and the 218.ID (Cholm!) in Russia, 1942. He went on to serve with the 31. Grenadier-Division, later 31. Volksgrenadier-Division in the Kurland area after this Soldbuch was opened. He earned the Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Silber in July 1944, and after a last wound the EKI and the Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber in December 1944. Also notice Nötzel was issued an "M.P.44" (Sturmgewehr 44) while fighting in Latvia, September 1944, and a Luger P.08 after returning to his unit in March 1945. The 31.VGD surrendered to the Russians on the Hela peninsula in April 1945.
- The Soldbuch is in good condition and complete except for pages 5-6. The portrait photo has been stamped twice but is 100% original to the Soldbuch; the stamp is by the Reservelazarett Arnsdorf where he recovered from his shrapnel wound in the Winter of 1944-'45.
