- Soldbuch to Feldwebel Friedrich Hennemann. First issue from May 1941. He was first with the Marine-Artillerie-Abteilung 262 located on the Atlantikwall in Brest, France. After some reschooling in anti-aircraft artillery, he moved to Marine-Flak-Abteilung 809 in April 1943. This Abteilung was located in Saint-Nazaire, also on the French coast.
- By the time of the invasion in June 1944, he was with Marine-Flak-Abteilung 820, also in Saint-Nazaire. This Abteilung would be surrounded by the Allies and incorporated in the Atlantikwall Festung Saint-Nazaire. A confirmation that Hennemann was indeed part of the fortress can be found on page 1 of the Soldbuch, where he was assigned the number 6375 of the "Personalliste St. Nazaire". There is also the typical stamped "U" on the inside of the cover. Hennemann must have surrendered with what remained of his unit in the Festung Saint-Nazaire in May 1945.
- Hennemann received the KVKII mit Schwertern in the Festung Saint-Nazaire in September 1944, but received his most important award four years earlier: the Spanienkreuz (in Bronze). Undoubtly, he was in the 1930's a gunner on board of one of the heavy ships that were sent to Spain, like the Bismarck or the Graf Spee. Other interesting entries include a 6.35 mm pistol, several hospital entries from the Marine-Lazarett in Nantes, a security stamp by his Batteriechef in January 1945.
- Except for the removed portrait photo, the Soldbuch is in a very good and complete condition.
