- Wehrpass to Leutnant Martin Roth. First issue from August 1938. Roth volunteered for the Wehrmacht and after basic artillery training he started off with the staff of Heeresküsten-Artillerie-Abteilung 929 in April 1941. This Abteilung was newly created that month with Czech 10,5 cm guns and soon saw action on the northern sector of the Eastern Front. In 1942, he served as an officer candidate with Infanterie-Regiment 118 (mot.) of the 36.ID until he was wounded by shrapnel mid August. He returned to his unit January 1943, but was soon killed during the Russian winter offensive northnorthwest of Gshatsk on 18th of February 1943. Since his promotion to Leutnant was entered as 1st of February 1943, his long desired officer promotion might very well have been posthumous. Leutnant Martin Roth's body is still missing. He had received the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz (entered twice), and the EKII just a few days before his death.
- Wehrpass in excellent and complete condition.
