- Wehrpass to Obergefreiter August Bröker. First issue from April 1939. Bröker originally served in a number of occupation and reserve units, most importantly almost two years with Landesschützen-Bataillon 491 guarding Allied POW's in the Krefeld area - notice the qualifications "Wachmann in einem Kriegsgefangenen-Lager" and "Kommandoführer auf einem Kriegsgefangenen Arbeitskommando" on page 21.
- Mid 1942, Bröker was deemed fit for front line service and sent to the Eastern Front with Grenadier-Regiment 454 of the 254. Infanterie-Division. Over the course of a year, he was wounded three times: by shrapnel in Tschudowo, August 1942, by frostbite on his left hand in January 1943, and last by shrapnel in his arm south of Krasny-Bor in May 1943. This last wound was his ticket home. He was awarded the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz, the Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber and last the EKII after his release from the Wehrmacht in January 1945.
- Wehrpass in excellent and complete condition. It comes with an Allied travel permit from June 1945.
