- Wehrpass to Oberstabsarzt Dr. Alfred Jauerneck. First issue from August 1936. Jauerneck was a well known and respected Berln based doctor, specialising in ear, nose and throat (ENT). Several articles and a biography of him can be found easily online. He saw his first military service with the 4. Garde-Regiment zu Fuss in 1911 and served as a doctor with various units during the First World War. He became the Chefarzt (leading doctor) of the ENT Abteilung of the Städtischen Krankenhaus Neukölln in the interwar, but nevertheless was called up by the Wehrmacht during the mobilisation of August 1939.
- Now serving as an Oberstabzarzt, a senior medical rank equal to Major, Dr. Jauerneck commanded a hospital of the Armee-Sanitäts-Abteilung 532 in occupied Poland, until his release from the Wehrmacht and return to his civilian occupation in April 1940. He did get an award later on, the Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse, likely the rarer version "ohne Schwerter" in September 1943. Dr. Jauerneck became Chefarzt of the ENT Abteilung of the Rudolf-Virchow-Krankenhaus in Berlin in 1948, and passed away in 1968.
