Award document grouping to Unteroffizier Werner Kallwass. He served with the Flak, first on the Eastern Front, then from mid 1944 with leichte Flak-Abteilung 82 (mot.) in Italy, where he was wounded and earned the EKII. His unit was listed in Alessandria (between Turino / Genova / Milano) in September 1944, and in 1945 in Padua. The following four documents are included:  

  • Ostmedaille, awarded September 1943 by his Batteriechef in Flak-Regiment 40.  
  • Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz, awarded for a wound sustained in Italy on 1st of August 1944. Signed by Major Dietrich, Abteilungskommandeur.  
  • Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse, awarded three days after his wound in Italy. Signed by Oberst Hans von Ploetz, later politician and General in the Bundeswehr.  
  • Kampfabzeichen der Flakartillerie, awarded in October 1944 and signed by Generalmajor Walter von Hippel, Knight's Cross winner, as commander of the 25. Flak-Division.  

All documents in fairly good condition, folded once and punched.
