- Wehrpass to Stabsgefreiter Ambros Löffler. First issue from February 1939. This Austrian professional driver was called up to serve as an Eisenbahnpionier (railway pioneer) in July 1939. He participated in the Polish campaign in 1939: notice the special battle entry for the "Gefecht bei AUSCHWITZ" on 4th of September. In July 1940, he was released from the Wehrmacht, but called up again one year later to serve with the Heeresverpflegungsdienststelle 587 on the southern sector of the Eastern Front. In 1943, Löffler also saw action against Yugoslavian partisans. He was awarded the Ostmedaille and the Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern.
