- Wehrpass grouping to Kanonier Leo Sowada, born in Essen and living as a baker in Oberhausen. First issue from June 1940. Called up by the Wehrmacht in February 1941, Sowada served for several months on the Eastern front with Artillerie-Regiment 206 of the 206.ID, until he died of an infection in hospital in Szjelischnja, Russia, on 5th of February 1942.
- The Wehrpass is in an excellent and complete condition, and comes with a large number of extra documents. These include the KIA letter sent to his family by the doctor, the preliminary and official death certificates, a letter concerning his personal belongings returned to the family, and a letter of condoleance signed by the NSDAP Ortsgruppenleiter of Osterfeld West.
