Document and photo grouping to the German POW Herbert Kletsch, captured in Africa as member of the Panzer-Regiment 8. The grouping has many diverse documents from his POW time in America and England, dating from his capture in Tunis (May 1943) until his release from the UK in 1947. These include personnel records, medical documents, letters sent home to his wife, newspaper clippings, correspondance with the family he worked for in England, and several (large sized) photos. Also added are the notes of the previous owner of these documents, who obtained them from his family and wrote down his trajectory in more detail.
