• Wehrpass to Maschinen-Gefreiter Wilhelm Möller. First issue from September 1939 with nice military portrait photo. After his recruit time with Inf.Rgt.377 (half a year later involved in war crimes in Belgium) in the Heer, Möller was transferred to the Kriegsmarine. In 1940, he served mostly on board of the Minenschiff "Königin Luise", active in Norway and Finland. At the end of that year, he moved to the Marine-Versorgungsstelle in Antwerpen, Belgium. On 15th of February 1941, Möller drowned during an accident and his body was recovered in Wesermünde only three weeks later, on 8th of March 1941. As this was his home town, it is quite possible he died during a leave home.
  • The Wehrpass is in very good and complete condition. It comes with the accompanying letter sent to his widow. The cards from the WASt archive providing some more information on his death are shown here just for reference.
