Small photo grouping of Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves winner Generalleutnant Kurt-Jürgen Freiherr von Lützow.
- Private studio portrait from the 1920's, 6x9 cm, in Reichswehr uniform showing his WW1 awards.
- Private postcard sized portrait taken in the field on the occasion of his Knight's Cross award ceremony in France 1940, with excellent signature and dedication to his cousin Lisa: "Meiner lieben Kusine Lisa, Vetter Kurt-Jürgen Lützow. Aufnahme im Felde, 15.8.40". He was awarded the Ritterkreuz as Oberst and commander of Inf.Rgt.89 in the French campaign.
- Private portrait on the Eastern Front with two of his staff officers, 5x7 cm. Notice the Oak Leaves in wear and the very tired look on his face. Von Lützow was awarded the Eichenlaub on 21st of October 1941 while still commanding the I.R.89; little later he would be promoted into the General ranks and assume command of the 12.ID.
Excellent wartime signed portrait grouping of this Oak Leaves winner originating from his direct family!
