Wehrpass grouping to Gefreiter Jakob Wallmanach. After serving with I.R.117 in WWI for more than a year, Wallmanach was called up again in the general mobilisation of August 1939 at the age of 40. He now served with Infanterie-Regiment 313, part of the 246. Infanterie-Division, and saw action on the Westwall and in the French campaign, mostly on the Maginot line west of Karlsruhe. He was then discharged in the Summer of 1940 to resume his job in the chemical industry. The grouping consists of:

  • Wehrpass, first issue from October 1937, in complete and very good condition.
  • Postcard sized portrait in uniform with his wife.
  • Arbeitsbuch, complete and very good condition, with a long assignment at C.H. Boehringer in Ingelheim, only interrupted by his military service.
  • DAF Mitgliedsbuch, complete and good condition, with many stamps spanning 10 years from 1935 to 1945.
  • Gesellen-Brief by the Handwerkskammer Darmstadt, 1917.
